A Rad 90s Event At New Belgium Brewing
For New Belgium’s 35th Anniversary 90s-themed celebration, I created a collection of custom 90s-inspired Chonkits and brought the Chonkit Bar so guests could build their own personalized sets. I also included custom-colored bike Chonkits, New Belgium logo Chonkits in both collectible and oversized display versions, and a giant logo piece designed for interactive games and play throughout the event. It was a fun way to turn branded swag into a hands-on experience that guests could create, collect, and enjoy together.
Education Meets Imagination at Evergreen Community Charter
Chonkits are more than collectibles. They’re tools for creativity, storytelling, and invention. I regularly donate sets to schools, libraries, and community organizations to encourage open-ended play and inspire kids to become creators themselves. At Evergreen Community Charter School, a third-grade class has been using Chonkits to invent their own games, dream up ideas for new characters, and even send me handwritten letters filled with suggestions for future concepts. Seeing kids turn tiny objects into big imaginations is one of the most rewarding collaborations of all.
Making Friends With Maker Faire
In collaboration with the Maker Faire marketing team, I designed and 3D printed custom versions of their beloved robot mascot, Makey. The project transformed an iconic character into a collectible, tangible experience that celebrated creativity, making, and the playful spirit that brings the Maker Faire community together.
Hair Today, Chonkit Tomorrow At Chemical Romance
For the fun and edgy team at Chemical Romance, I transformed their logo into custom Chonkits and collaborated on a fabulous hairstylist-themed set designed to turn heads. The partnership grew into a full Chonkit experience, including a trinket exchange outside the salon that I stocked with a big bag of extras to keep the fun going. They even turned their Chemical Romance Chonkits into keychains and fashion accessories for clients and proudly displayed the full game set in the center of their studio, making Chonkits a playful part of their salon’s personality and community.
